해당 화일이 질문하신 분 사이트 화일과 동일하지 않을 수 있으니 172행이 아니겠지요
.latest_wr:after이 172행이면 위쪽에 #container 스타일 있네요 (164행 정도)

1. #main_ri 영역 삭제
2. #main_new 영역 width: 100%; 재지정
3. div#main_new > div 영역 추가정의, width: 100%; 지정

기본적으로 width를 비율로 나눕니다.
그래서 오른쪽 영역을 없애신후에 왼쪽 영역을 100%로 넓히시면 됩니다.
