If you choose the 3- or 4-year billing cycle when purchasing an SSL certificate, you basically get separate SSL certificates that are included in the same SSL bundle. For instance, your 3-year SSL Bundle will contain 3 SSL certificates with the 1-year one validity period. The main benefit of purchasing an SSL Bundle is that the price for 1 year gets lower along with the SSL Bundle validity period increase. Therefore, you will get an opportunity to reactivate your certificate prior the expiration using the already purchased one from bundle.
