저는 한국에서 외국인 학생입니다. 저는 GNU4에 관심이 있어요, 그래서 영어 언어 팩을가 있는지 알고 싶어요. 아니면 하드 코딩인가요?
저는 어떤 도움을 아주 기쁩니다. 좀 비용이 들어가도 괞찬습니다.

gnu4 not support multi-language pack officially...
영어로 말시키니까 무서워요 ㅜ..ㅜ
FYI, to save trouble, u should really use Gnuboard DTD version instead of the Gnuboard 4.

There are numerous coding issues with Gnuboard 4 as that version is quite old & uses tables to layout its view pages.
Unless u enjoy torturing yourself, you should stick with DTD version which uses standard/modern coding.

I had built few multi-lingual sites in the past and I always ended up building separate pages for each language because it's impossible to translate Korean into English using various translation APIs.
Maybe your approach works in other languages but when I use Google translate to translate Korean into English or vice versa for example, outcome gets ridiculously funny. (Actually, Chinese or Japanese to English gets even funnier.)
I mean, what's the use of perfectly translated menu when your content is all out of whack? What's the point?
Anyhow, u might want to look into few jQuery translator plug-ins if you are serious about building your language packs.

mind if I ask how you implement a multi-language site?
I am currently working on GNU4 based multi-language site using very primitive way (refer to the link above).
would it be easy to change with another language pack on your implementation?
Example: 원래 그누보드4 bbs/board.php 에 있는 코드:
(1) alert_close("존재하지 않는 게시판입니다.", $g4[path]);
그것을 다로 korean.php, english.php 등 만들고 여렇게 씁니다
korean.php :
(2) $ALERT['boardNotExist'] = '존재하지 않는 게시판입니다.';
english.php :
(3) $ALERT['boardNotExist'] = 'Board does not exist';
나중에 (1)을 다음과 같이 바꿉니다
(3) alert_close($ALERT['boardNotExist'], $g4[path]);
아래 다른 댓글에도 남겼지만, 적용해야할 부분이 생각보다 많습니다.
특히 게시판 스킨 (or theme) 이나 회원 관련 스킨 쪽에 굉장히 많은 한글 메세지들이 숨어있습니다. :(

작업이 완료되면 그 결과를 여기 있는 다른 사람들과 공유할 계획이 있는가요? 그래준다면 정말 감사하고, 소중하게 사용될 것 같습니다. :)
I just want to give you a heads up. There are soooo many hard-coded (Korean) messages and print-outs in PHP and javascript files. Also get ready to replace lots of images with Korean letters on them.. it is frakking exhausting...
