PHP Debugger Overview

If you are looking for utility that will let you debug your php scripts directly from dreamweaver's environment, you are in right place. Our PHP Debugger extension will help you do that!
When you install the extension, a new menu item will appear right to "Commands" menu called "PHP Debugger". All you have to do is to go there and click on "Preferences..." tab, than browse your PHP Executable file (Ex. C:\php\php.exe) and choose which error types you want to be reported.

What you can expect from PHP Debugger:

• Simple and intuitive user interface.
• Option to choose which error types you want to be reported by PHP Debugger.
• Preview of the source, exactly where the error appears.
• You can view 12 line above and 12 below the error line to easy locate the problem .
• By clicking on the error line you will be located directly to the file and line of the problem.
• Start debugging with already assigned shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+Z

Requirements

• Macromedia Extension Manager

• PHP Distribution
  • To put PHP Debugger on action, you have to install (if you still don't have) a PHP on your local machine.
  • You can download latest PHP version from PHP.NET
• Supported Macromedia products:
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver 8
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver MX - not tested yet but should work fine
