I'm here from www.sir.co.kr after reading your post. I'm searching for a bulletin board in vain. A Brazilian told me phpBB. Not good. And Invisions or something are similar to phpBB. They do does not give room for site integration. When I enterd your site, I thought it's good. I mean the board program. But also GNU board, isn't it?

To answer your question, the bulletin board is 85% minibb board and 15% gnuboard.

it lacks a korean translation, but there is one for an earlier version and that is easy to fix.
the coding is poor compared to gnuboard (you would not believe .......). minibb was integrated with the g4_member table of gnuboard (you add some fields and "BAM"), so login and registration is gnuboard. Also, there are points all around the code which are stolen from gnuboard, because they have done some pretty cool shit. The forum itself however is minibb, as their skin has been translated into various languages.
progress at this point is:
1. php code which sets site language from the POST variable sent by the browser.
2. I have english translation of register_form.php, and the files under skin/outlogin .... i haven't translated anything else into english.
3. translations of 쪽지 files and the points file (very soon)

And, most of the translating is in 2 and 3, dealing with logins. Together, we can do this, i think.
as for the buttons, there are not as many as i thought.
we can finish in 2 weeks. maybe.

Later, we need to overcome a problem i have.
and you can help, because http://www.sir.co.kr and me have a communication problem. if you are korean, i think they would be more willing to listen to you, however.
