보통 썸은 생성시 사이즈를 지정합니다.
지정된 사이즈를 강제로 늘렸다면 화질이 떨어 질수 있으니 생성할때 부터 크게 생성하시면 됩니다.

보통 어디서 생성할때 크게 썸네일을 만드는지요?
