placeholders.min.js 소스를 아래 소스로 바꿨습니다. 바꿨더니 제목을 입력안하면 동영상과 같이 초기화됩니다.

IE8에서 제목을 입력안하고 글등록을 하면 경고창이 뜬 뒤 여태까지 입력했던 내용이 다 사라집니다.

IE11과 크롬에서는 문제없이 잘 동작합니다.
